Information we collect

• Account data supplied through Firebase Authentication, such as your email address, display name, sign-in provider and account ID.
• Job-search preferences you choose during onboarding, including roles, seniority, workplace type, location and salary range.
• Consent-based usage events and performance measurements, including pages viewed, interactions, browser information and Web Vitals.
• Technical request information used temporarily to protect forms and APIs from abuse. Raw IP addresses are not stored in analytics records.

How information is used

We use account and preference data to provide sign-in, preserve your setup and improve job discovery. If you allow analytics, events are used to understand reliability, performance and feature usage. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential browser storage supports authentication and remembers your privacy choice. Optional analytics storage and events are activated only after you select “Allow analytics.” You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time.

Service providers and external sites

Firebase supports authentication, and hosting/database providers process information needed to operate HolandJobs. Apply links open an employer or recruiting-system website governed by that service’s own privacy policy. We disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users and the service.

Retention and security

Consent-based analytics events expire after 90 days. Account and preference data is retained while the account is active or as needed for legal and security obligations. We use access controls, HTTPS, request validation and abuse limits, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw analytics consent through Cookie settings. Contact us from the account email so we can verify the request.

Children and international use

HolandJobs is intended for people old enough to seek employment and is not directed to children under 16. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards used by our service providers.
